Contact me at (336) 443-5535 or securely e-mail me at [email protected] to schedule an appointment

Why do I only offer Online Therapy?

You can engage in services from a private location of your choosing (home, work, etc.). You also don’t have to worry about getting dressed and driving across town for an appointment. No more spending time in a waiting room when you can be done in an hour and back to your life. You don't have to find a babysitter, just put the kids to bed and take care of your needs.

Online psychotherapy is just as effective as meeting with a therapist in an office. It is not a substitute for face-to-face therapy.

You are not restricted to having to meet during traditional office hours (i.e. 8-5) or Monday through Friday only. I have evening and weekend hours available for sessions which will make it more convenient for you and your family.

Accessible To All

Those of you who may have physical limitations and are home-bound can now engage in therapy services. Therapy services can also be provided to persons living in other countries. All you need is reliable internet connection and a computer, laptop, or tablet!

How Does It Work?

After your appointment is scheduled with me, I'll e-mail you a link to set up your client portal. You will be able to complete the intake paperwork prior to your first session, make payments, schedule and cancel your appointments. You can also send me secure messages. Your client portal can be accessed from any device at anytime you choose. A few minutes before your session, you'll simply click on a link to begin the session. We will have our therapy sessions on a secure connection to ensure your privacy.

I also offer Life Coaching Services

If you want to succeed in your life with less stress then working with a life coach will be the best decision that you can make.  No person that has been successful in their life has achieved that success alone, they have or had others guiding them along the way.  These people may have been professional coaches or personal "cheerleaders". Important Information

The primary purpose of an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)  is to help his/her owner by decreasing symptoms associated with a mental/emotional disability and aid in coping, thereby improving overall functioning and well being. The animal is not required to undergo any special training or be certified in any way. An Emotional Support Animal is different from a therapy or service animal as federal law only applies when it concerns housing restrictions and/or airline travel. The Emotional Support Animal may not be brought into public places (with the exception of an airport). Should the animal in question be in poor health, not current on its vaccinations, a nuisance to others, or aggressive in any way, federal law does not apply.

Please note that I will not provide Emotional Support Animal Letters of Prescription for just anyone who requests one simply because he/she want to keep a pet in what would otherwise be animal-restricted housing or wishes to travel with their pet only for convenience purposes. This issue is taken very seriously, as many people try to take advantage of labeling their pet as an Emotional Support Animal to get around certain restrictions and laws. I conduct a comprehensive evaluation.  There has to be a legitimate medical or mental/emotional reason (disability) why an individual is in true need of an Emotional Support Animal, such as a documented mental or psychological disorder (e.g., panic attacks, depression, PTSD, etc.). The individual must have a functional impairment in one or more of the following major life activities: walking, concentrating, hearing, self-care, performing manual tasks, social interaction, sleeping, seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing, learning, working, etc.
